It's just a CM, they started re-running the anime a few weeks ago.
100% sure. Cos I'm in HK and checked its 1st ep.

The biggest giveaway is they used the original HK voiceovers and music from the anime in all the cms.

As for the the article. It was just blown out of proportion, like watching 'live' Halo cms and saying its a movie trailer. The pic must be from another source, probably cosplayers.
