“Ouran High School Host Club” main cast confirmed !!!!!!!!!!

Last week’s confirmation of an “Ouran High School Host Club” drama series, starring Yamamoto Yusuke and Kawaguchi Haruna, is now truly official. On Tuesday, additional cast details were announced, confirming several names that were unofficially reported before.

As previously revealed, Yamamoto is playing the role of Tamaki, the president of the host club, while Kawaguchi is playing the central character Haruhi. The other cast members are being played by:

Nakamura Masaya – Mori
Daito Shunsuke – Kyoya
Takagi Shinpei and Takagi Manpei – Hitachiin twins
Chiba Yudai – Honey
Ryusei Ryo – Umehito

TBS will broadcast the series in the “Friday Break” time slot (Friday night, 12:20am), beginning in July. More details will be released at a later date.

According to Anime News Network, the long-rumored live-action adaptation of “Ouran High School Host Club” (“Ouran Koukou Host Club”) is finally becoming a reality. Yamamoto Yusuke (23) is being billed as the show’s star, with teen model/actress Kawaguchi Haruna (16) playing the female lead. “Ouran High School Host Club” is a popular comedy/romance manga by Hatori Bisco that started in 2003, which also had a successful anime adaptation in 2006. For years, there has been talk of a possible drama adaptation, but the rumors have always been false until now. The story revolves around a high school girl named Fujioka Haruhi (Kawaguchi) at the prestigious Ouran Academy, who stumbles upon a group of male students who have formed their own club as hosts. Accidentally breaking an antique vase, Haruhi ends up owing the club a vast amount of money, and she ends up posing as a host in order to repay her debt. Yamamoto will play the part of Tamaki, the president of the club. The rest of the actors playing the club members have not yet been officially announced, though more details will likely be revealed in next week’s issue of LaLa (Hakusensha). TBS will broadcast the series, starting in July.

Fuji TV announced today that the 2007 drama series “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~ Ikemen Paradise” is coming back this summer, but with an entirely new cast. Instead of the original lead actress Horikita Maki, the new series will be led by AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko.

Based on the popular manga series by Nakajo Hisaya, “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” (abbreviated as “Hana Kimi”) tells the story of a girl named Ashiya Mizuki who lives in the United States. She falls in love with a young high jumper named Sano Izumi after seeing him on television, but when he suddenly quits the sport, she decides to take action. In order to get close to Sano and help him return to high jumping, she moves to Japan and disguises herself as a boy to enroll in Sano’s all-boys high school.

In the first drama series, the male leads were played by Oguri Shun and Ikuta Toma, though the show also featured other popular actors like Mizushima Hiro and Okada Masaki. The new show will reportedly have a fresh cast, and the setting and story will also be changed. Rather than being a sequel to the first series, Fuji TV’s announcement suggests that this will be a new retelling of the story. However, plot details are being kept secret for now.

*flausch* XDDD Leipziger Buchmesse 2011

...das war meine LBM 2011 XDDD
zumindest der Samstag XD

Ich war ja nun von Donnerstag bis Sonntag da...und nun tun mir die Füße weh *drop* aber Spaß gemacht hats trotzdem ^____^
Donnerstag und Freitag waren ja recht ruhig...man hat sich die Messe angeguckt, Vorträge angehört, oder einfach nur gechillt *yay* XD

dafür wurde es denn Samstag stressig...naja...auch nicht wirklich XD zumindest kann ich wieder einen Punkt auf meiner mentalen "Cosplay-Dinge die ich mal machen will"-Liste abhaken:
ICH HAB BEIM EINZELCOSPLAY-WB MITGEMACHT XD
nix gewonnen, aber darum gings mir ja auch nicht^^
... das tollste daran war, das ich mich Backstage mit vielen netten Leuten unterhalten konnte (von denen ich nur leider die Namen nicht kenne *drop*) und so ging die lange Wartezeit schnell vorbei ^_____^

Am Sonntag gings dann vom Flauschi-Cos ins antike Griechenland: Megara und die Musen ^________________________________________^
Vielen lieben Dank an meine Pampel-Muse, Apfel-Muse, Pflaumen-Muse und Ozzy XD *knuff*
...hat echt sauviel Spaß gemacht...und damit meine ich nicht nur den Auftritt beim Wettbewerb^^
Das sollten wir irgendwann noch mal richtig aufnehmen^^

und zum Abschluss nochmal Danke an Banni, das das Gästezimmer wieder für mich reserviert war XD
